1919 May 7th Eva Duarte is born in a small dreary pampas town, the illegitimate daughter of a poor farmer
and local girl. In her youth Eva experienced great poverty. Her life on the pampas was dull and sordid. She
was humiliated by the knowledge that she was a bastard
and a daughter of 'the other wife'. She was never to forget the sense of rejection and was to harbour
resentment all her life against those who were in a position to cause her so much humiliation.
1943 Eva meets Colonel Juan Peron, already powerful in the government and with a reputed penchant for young actresses.
1947 Eva embarks on a much heralded
European Tour of Spain, Italy, Portugal, France and Switzerland. Here Eva could enjoy showing off her lavish wardrobe and the French were duly appreciative. Eva traveled in style with a massive and costly entourage and enough outfits to provide her with 3 or 4 a day on her 2 month trip. Eva's passion for clothes is well-known.
July 26th 1952 8:25pm Eva Duarte de Peron, at the age of 33, died. Evita was deeply loved by her people.
Her charisma was irresistible. Although Eva was loved greatly by some of her subjects in others she provoked great hatred.
Evita was one of the most colorful women of the last century. She was know for her love of the people and by the people. And, she was known for her beautiful and expensive clothes. Bob found a picture of Evita on the web and we decided to recreate it as best we could.
Evita
is dressed in a white silk full lenth fully lined in satin to give it a smooth,
and flowing quality. Her gown fits close to her body with a slight flare in the
skirt and kick train that would have trailed gracefully 
behind
her giving her a very elegent look. It is trimmed at the neck with faux pearls
and braiding and it has faux pearl buttons down her back which gives it a
complete look for the evening. She is also carrying an evening purse made to
match the dress and trimmed in the same faux pearls and braiding.
She
is also wearing a necklace made of Austrian crystals. She also has on braclets
on both arms made of Austrian crystals to match her necklace. She is also
wearing crystal earrings with a genuine pearl drop. In her hair she has a gold
tone pin with crystals and helping to hold her hair in place is some hair pins
with genuine pearls. All of this made just for her.
