What
a beauty, is Crystal. Bob and I had great fun creating this addition to our
collection. As with all of our dolls only the finest products were used to
create her. From her gown, to her hair, and jewelry, she is exceptional.
Crystal
is wearing a dark peach on peach on peach, dress of cotton and chiffon. Her
bodice and skirt are made of a dark cotton, just heavy enough to give some body
but not so much that is looks too stiff. It is cut in a wrap around style coming
to a point at her waist. Her dress is trimmed in ruffled chiffon which is cut in
such a way that it creates its own rippling. We used two shades of chiffon in
the trim and then used wire to get the rippling effect. The trim goes around her
neck, hem and around her sleeves. She also has a chiffon flower at her waist
where the skirt over laps adding a wonder final touch.
Her
jewelry is very nice, simple and tasteful. She is wearing a gold tone necklace
with a crystal drop. She also has a genuine pearl bracelet as well. To complete
her look She is wearing crystal earrings, giving her a sparkle all her
own.
Bob
did an excellent job on her hair. Originally, we were going to make her blonde
he changed his mind at and decided to make her auburn. I agree and now couldn't
imagine her as anything but auburn. Her hair is swept up in a casual style with
wisps of bangs that frame her hair and finishing it is a hair ornament made of
two tone gold and copper with faux pearls.
