This is Ava our third Bride. She is beautifully dressed and ready for the wedding march. She comes from a time when weddings were big social events that merges two families. Her distance gaze almost reveals her thoughts. She is frozen in a time of anticipation, and wonder what wedded life will provide for her and her family.
Ava's dress is created from an antique dress of silk and lace.
We created a Greek style dress with no shoulder straps of any kind. Her dress is
and gather at the neck, and the empire waist, and the actual waist to give her
that stunning Greek Goddess look. The antique lace is attach to arm band and
gracefully drapes down and then to a beautiful train. Her veil is made of tulle
and has a crown of flowers and crystals. She is elegant in her simplicity.
Her necklace is made of genuine pearls and are a pale creamy gray. She is carrying a bouquet of long stem tulips that are peach color, and are made of porcelain. Her hair is pulled back soft and smooth with a wonderful combination of curls and braids and faux pearls at her neck.
This beautiful doll has found a new home.
